When it comes to the location, this apartment is truly special. With stunning views of Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains, it's easy to see why the new owners were mesmerized by the property. The vibrant colors from the window views were an inspiration for the design concept, with blues, turquoises, and creamy whites creating a sense of serenity and calm. The double storey apartment needed to be thoroughly refurbished to accommodate the busy life of a modern family of four, plus a labrador. This included replacing the gloss tile floor with a modern concrete finish, as well as redesigning the kitchen, two bathrooms and bedrooms. The selection of furniture, lighting and fabrics was crucial in creating the desired look and feel. Many elements of the old interiors were up-cycled and reused; such as the old kitchen granite tops and graphite mirrors which were incorporated into the new bathroom designs. I'm especially proud of this aspect as it reflects our commitment to sustainability. The apartment is located in close proximity to hustle and bustle of Geneva city, yet still feels like a comfortable oasis away from it all.
