Ewa O' Neill
interior architect (MA)
I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, specializing in Interior Architecture. My masters focused on furniture design and artistic glass. In recent years, I also studied Interior Architecture at IPAC Design in Geneva.
I gained experience in Poland, UK and Switzerland - in Geneva - while working in design studios, where I contributed to various projects focused on commercial interiors such as restaurants, hotels, banks, and offices. These days, I still collaborate with design companies in Switzerland, Spain, and Poland, helping out with interior projects and entering architectural competitions.
Yet, what truly fulfills me is working directly with clients. There's nothing like tailoring interiors to their unique needs, style, and budget. Getting to know people, hearing their stories, and dreams - it's incredibly rewarding.
To me, the essence of design lies in how it transforms a space and evokes emotions when you step into it. That's why I admire architecture that inspires and resonates emotionally. I'm drawn to the lively and sexy French design. I cherish iconic furniture for the stories and craftsmanship behind them, that's why I often incorporating them into my projects.
Living in countries like Nepal, Tunisia and Sierra Leone has given me broad perspective on the world and people.
I'm a bit obsessed with colors, too. I can spend hours finding just the right combinations and shades for each space.
